Sausage Dog Embroidery Kit

Maybe you are looking for an embroidery project to get stuck into, or are looking for a present for someone creative, either way, I hope you love this dachshund. It is a larger project, fitting inside a 9” embroidery hoop, so it is a great way to spend some time with your feet up and creating something wonderful. The outline of the dachshund is pre-stitched onto the fabric for you, which means that even as a beginner, you can enjoy filling your dachshund with pattern and not worry about the outline. The instructions explain how to fill each section of the dog with the correct thread and stitch pattern, in a simple ‘paint by numbers’ style. I supply a mixture of stranded cotton, crewel wool and seed beads with the project, so you will have the opportunity to use plenty of different materials that you may not have tried before. 

To give the sausage dog embroidery kit a really contemporary style, I have created the kit with a hint of blue in the design, to make it look really modern. I am a big believer that embroidery isn’t just for the older generations, or for women, but it’s for everybody! Doing embroidery can be a fun way to practise some self-care and take time out from our busy world to get stuck into a creative, and really rewarding, hobby.
