The mustard yellow butterfly embroidery kit was one of our favourite designs to create, it feels really satisfying to stitch onto such a bright colour! We loved the design so much that we created the kit in shades of white, black and orange too.

To create the design, Kirsty hand drew the butterfly emblem, before printing it onto our mustard yellow linen fabric and using satin stitch and seed beads to develop the pattern. The instructions are carefully written, using a combination of step by step written instructions, photographs and diagrams (with the option to watch video tutorials too) to make sure you have the clearest instructions we can offer. We are passionate about supporting local businesses, so our suppliers are based in the UK, including the company that prints our instruction booklets. Inside your kit, you will also receive needles made by John James, a hardwood embroidery hoop made by Elbesee, a selection of seed beads, threads made by DMC and Appletons, and of course, the mustard yellow linen fabric, with the butterfly pre-printed onto the fabric, all ready to be stitched!
There are many butterfly designs on the market, so we wanted to make ours different - something you can really be creative with and enjoy using different materials that you may never have had the opportunity to use before.
