The dachshund embroidery kit is the very first kit that we created and released out into the world - it’s still one of our favourites.

Get creative with our dog embroidery kits!

If you are looking for a bigger project to get stuck into, our dachshund embroidery kit is stitched in a 9” hoop, so there is plenty of stitching to keep you occupied. Although it is a larger project, we have used the same stitches as in our smaller designs, meaning you can definitely create it as a beginner. When we first released this kit during lockdown, we loved helping people try embroidery for the first time and seeing them being creative in a new way. We have used stitch patterns to fill each section in the project to create a ‘patchwork’ style by playing around with straight stitches, seed beads and french knots to create different textures and patterns. So, if you are a more advanced embroiderer, there are plenty of new things for you to try too.

Once you have finished stitching the embroidery, we include a few ideas in the instruction booklet of what you could do with the design once it is complete. We suggest keeping it framed in the embroidery hoop - you can pop the screw at the top of the hoop straight onto a nail in the wall, or hang it using some ribbon. Other ideas include making it into a cushion or framing it inside a square mount - the possibilities are endless!

Whether you are a dog owner, or know someone who loves sausage dogs, we have designed our dachshund embroidery kit to treat yourself, your mum, friend, dog walker, grandma or teacher to something special. The contents of each kit are carefully packaged inside a drawstring bag with a colourful packaging band wrapped around it, showing an image of the finished design - we want to make the unpacking experience as beautiful and fun as possible! Everything you need to make the embroidery hoop design is included, so you can sit back and enjoy the experience! Your kit will include:

• Organic Cotton Bag (for storing your kit)
