Butterfly Embroidery Kit

This butterfly embroidery kit combines colour and texture to create a unique design for you to stitch, through the use of seed beads and satin stitch, using stranded cotton and crewel wool.

The butterfly embroidery kit focuses mainly on the use of satin stitch, which is one of the most important and most used stitches in embroidery. It is a really easy stitch to create, but is very effective, especially when created using different threads. Each kit contains both stranded cotton, which has a silky satin shine, and crewel wool, which has a textured matte finish. Our kits also focus on the use of seed beads, which add an extra 3D dimension to the embroidery, in addition to a little hint of sparkle. All of the other bits and bobs you need to complete the kit are also included: needles, thorough instructions, fabric with the printed butterfly pattern to follow and of course, the embroidery hoop. The only thing you’ll need to provide is the scissors.

It can be difficult to put time aside to spend resting and creating something unique. When I created the butterfly embroidery kit, I wanted to offer a kit that could help you relax away from a digital screen. Doing embroidery has really helped me to look after my mental health by spend time focusing on self-care and relaxation, through its calming nature. I hope that doing embroidery could offer you that space to relax and unwind for you too.

Everything needed to stitch the butterfly embroidery kit is included (except scissors), and packed beautifully inside an organic cotton bag, making it perfect for gifting. The contents of the kit include:

• Bobbin of Thread (for attaching beads)
