The kit uses patterned fill stitches, creating a really modern take on embroidery in a ‘patchwork’ style. Each stitch is simple to execute, either being a variation on a straight stitch or on a french knot. My extensive instructions include all of our top tips, step by step instructions, access to video tutorials, photographs and diagrams to follow; making everything as easy and straightforward as possible. The outline of the bumblebee is pre-stitched for you, making it the perfect kit for beginners; you don’t have to worry about sewing the perfect outline - no matter how neat your stitching is, you will create a unique and beautiful bee full of colour and texture.

Create your own bumble bee with all of the different materials included in the kit. Everything you need (except scissors) comes packaged inside a drawstring bag, before being shipped inside a cardboard box, so it's perfect to send as a letterbox gift or to treat yourself. Each kit arrives with:

• 2x Needles (1x John James embroidery needle, 1x beading needle)
• Full Instructions (A4/A5 size booklet)
• Pink Linen/Cotton Mix Fabric with Pre-Stitched Outline 
• Backer (placed behind the fabric)
• 4” Embroidery Hoop (Elbesee Hardwood Hoop)
• Threads (Stranded Cotton, Crewel Wool)
• Seed Beads (Size 11 Toho Seed Beads)
• Bobbin of Thread (for attaching beads)
• Organic Cotton Bag (for storing your kit)
