Our fox embroidery kit combines all of those rusty, earthy colours with pops of bright orange to create a really modern looking fox. We have pre-stitched the outline of the fox onto the textured, natural coloured linen, ready for you to fill the shapes with interesting, patterned fill stitches. A selection of stranded cotton and crewel wool is supplied with the kit, creating a real variety of textures - the smooth shine of the stranded cotton stands out against the matte, fluffy crewel wool. The instructions provided with the kit take you through stitching the design step by step, and use a key which is set out similarly to a ‘paint by numbers’ project, directing you which thread and stitch to use in each section of the fox.

We have made the kit accessible to everyone through providing really comprehensive instructions, in order to help beginners do the embroidery project. However, this is one of our bigger kits, fitting inside a 10” hoop, and is mainly aimed at more experienced stitchers who want to try something a bit different and learn how to use embroidery stitches to create patterns. Some sections of the fox around the face and ears are also quite small and can be slightly fiddly, but are really important in creating detail within the design. It doesn’t matter whether you know someone who loves foxes, and you want to stitch this for them as a gift, or if you want to hang the finished design on your own wall, we hope you are excited to start stitching the fox embroidery kit!
