One of the animals we have been frequently asked to create is a highland cow, so here it is! We’re so excited to reveal our highland cow cross stitch kit, complete with his long horns, shaggy hair and expressive nose. We have added some leaves around the edge to add some extra colour - you know we love to combine animals and botanicals in our kits! There are 9 different thread colours included in the kit, to make sure you can get plenty of depth and colour packed into your highland cow design. To finish off your highland cow, we have used a combination of back stitch and long stitch to outline your highland cow and make him look extra hairy!
To give you the best stitching experience possible, we have included our high quality materials to make it easy for you to fall in love with stitching your project. We have included 2x needles and a bobbin of thread for adding beads, which will last you way beyond the completion of the project. We have written some really detailed instructions, finished with illustration and photographs to help you along with stitching your highland cow. Your fabric is a lovely cream coloured aida, which you will place inside our favourite Elbesee beech wooden hoop and stitch with high quality stranded cotton. We have included some toho seed beads too for you to add details to the eyes and leaves - these have larger centres than some other brands of seed bead, making it really easy for you to do some bead embroidery! Using the best quality materials means that you can get the most out of your kit - less tangled threads, a hoop that holds your thread taut and needles that glide through your fabric; meaning you can fully enjoy your stitching experience!
