Our bee embroidery kit makes a wonderful gift for a creative friend, or is a lovely project to help you to spend some time relaxing and putting your feet up. Whether you are looking for a creative DIY kit for an avid embroiderer or a complete novice, we hope you love this little kit.
All of the materials that you need are included - you only need to provide a pair of scissors. We pre-print the design onto our favourite linen fabric, so you don’t need to trace the pattern, but can get stuck straight into the embroidery. Behind your linen fabric, you will also receive a piece of backer - this is to add stability to the fabric, and make sure that from the front, you cannot see any trailing threads on the back of your work. You will receive detailed instructions which are printed in an A5 booklet, so you can spread them out and see them clearly - these include written directions, our top tips, illustrated diagrams and photographs, which help you through every step, alongside our video tutorials. Wherever possible, we have used UK suppliers to help provide everything that we include in your bee embroidery kit - this includes the embroidery needle, made by John James, the hardwood embroidery hoop, made by Elbesee and the crewel wool, made by Appletons. To finish off the kit, we also include a selection of orange and black seed beads, along with a bobbin of thin thread and special beading needle for attaching them.
We just want you to have the opportunity to fall in love with embroidery the way we have. Whether you struggle with your mental health, and are looking for a calming activity to do, or loved being artistic as a child and are looking for a creative outlet, we hope that you enjoy creating your own little floral bee design.
