Bee Embroidery Kit, Designed and Made in the UK

We carefully hand pack each bee embroidery kit here in our UK based studio, ensuring that each component is of the best quality, to give you the best stitching experience we possibly can.

This simple embroidery kit is the perfect project for beginners.

The kit is created similarly to a ‘paint by numbers’ project, but uses embroidery rather than paint. The outline of the bee arrives pre-stitched, meaning that you don’t have to worry about stitching the form of the bee perfectly. Instead, you can focus on filling each section with embroidery stitches, making it perfect for beginners. Rather than using traditional embroidery stitches, we have designed unique stitches for you to try; they are all adaptations on either a straight stitch or a french knot, with seed beads also added into some stitch patterns. The instructions include clear diagrams (video tutorials are also available) which show you how to execute each stitch, and exactly which area of the bee to fill with each stitch, making the embroidery kit really simple and straightforward if you are new to embroidery.

It is really important to us that you enjoy stitching this bee embroidery kit as much as we have enjoyed designing it, so that the project creates a really relaxing experience. Whether you are an avid lover of bumble bees, or are just looking for a small project to get you started with embroidery, we hope this simple embroidery kit helps you to take a few hours just for yourself. The combination of different stitches and selection of threads and seed beads have been chosen to ensure that although the project is small, there are plenty of variations in the stitching (believe me - you won’t get bored!).

Our bee embroidery kit contains everything you need to complete the project, and is packed in eco-friendly packaging, ready to be sent out to you from our UK studio. Inside your kit you will receive:

• 2x Needles (1x John James embroidery needle, 1x beading needle)
• Full Instructions (A4/A5 size booklet)
• Linen Fabric with Pre-Stitched Outline 
• Backer (placed behind the fabric)
• 4” Embroidery Hoop (Elbesee Hardwood Hoop)
• Threads (Stranded Cotton, Crewel Wool)
• Seed Beads (Size 11 Toho Seed Beads)
• Bobbin of Thread (for attaching beads)
• Organic Cotton Bag (for storing your kit)
